The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, this morning paid a courtesy call on the Honourable PJ Patterson, former Prime Minister of Jamaica and president of the PJ Patterson Centre for Africa-Caribbean Advocacy, an institution attached to the renowned University of the West Indies.

Several members of the "Antonio Maceo Grajales" Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica (ACRJ) joined this weekend in the international campaign ‘Eliminate the blockade, it's also a virus!’ which conveyed the world’s call for the elimination of this unjust policy imposed by the US government on the Cuban people six decades ago.

‘Stop the Blockade it’s a virus too’, is the rallying call by progressive humanity, as the Caravan against the Blockade of Cuba, makes another journey (April 24-25), to highlight the crime against humanity that this 60-year old illegal and criminal action by successive administrations of the US government, has had on the lives of the citizens of our sister nation.
