In a cordial atmosphere, Ambassador David Rivero Pérez and the National Chairperson of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, Diana Williams-Humphrey, met this morning at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters in Basseterre, to discuss, among other topics, about the Granma Rebelde International Festival, to be held in Havana next October. This event is expected to be a space for political, academic, cultural and popular exchange, promoting dialogue, solidarity and cooperation from critical thinking. The multiple challenges facing peace and social justice on the current international scene will be addressed.

Cuba awarded eleven new scholarships to young people from Saint Kitts and Nevis.

At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Basseterre, the ceremony for the granting of scholarships to eleven young people from this Federation took place on Wednesday afternoon. They will soon embark on a new path in their student life, on Cuban soil.

It was an endearing meeting, without a doubt, a space in which each of those present came out more convinced of the future they desire for themselves.
