On the evening of November 25, the Cuban Embassy in Saint Kitts and Nevis paid tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

The exaggerated and aggressive military presence of the United States in the region constitutes a threat against Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole. The main and immediate target is the violent overthrow of the government of Venezuela through the use of U.S. military force, an extremely dangerous and irresponsible action with unpredictable and incalculable consequences.
Given the manifest degree of threat, this constitutes a violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations.
With a military escalation, an international crime of the highest order would be committed.
