Havana, 23 January 2019.The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba strongly condemns and rejects the attempt to impose through a coup d'état a puppet government at the service of the United States in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and expresses its invariable solidarity with the Government of constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
Castries, January 22nd ,2019. The Honorable Sarah Flood-Beaubrun, Minister responsible for External Affairs of Saint Lucia received the Cuban Ambassador to this country, Alejandro Simancas. The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Department of External Affairs, allowed the two dignitaries to review principal aspects of the bilateral agenda, emphasizing cooperation in different areas such as Medicine, Sports and Construction.

During the meeting, which took place at the Minister's Office, they interchanged on the positive development of the bilateral cooperation in the field of Medicine and the possibilities for it to be extended and increased.

The members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Saint Lucia, this past Saturday, held a meeting to carry out an assessment the work carried during the year 2018, during which the Head of the Brigade, José Luis López, highlighted in detail the main results reached and the proposed objectives for 2019.
