Mr. Eduardo Lazo Pérez, shared today in this capital information about business and investment opportunities in Cuba to representatives of several companies and institutions that attended the event "Yours to Discover-Seminar on Central America and the Caribbean", organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, in association with Business Finland, FinnCham and the Finnish-Latin American Trade Association.

Successful presentation of the destination Cuba at the Finnish tourism fair "Matka 2018"

Helsinki, January 23rd, 2018. Thousands of Finns and visitors from different continents, along with exhibitors from 83 countries and travel agents from all over the world had the opportunity to approach the many benefits that Cuba offers as a travel destination during the tourism international fair MATKA 2018, the largest event in this sector in northern Europe, which took place between January 18th  and January 21st in this capital.

President of Estonia receives Credentials from the new Ambassador of Cuba

Helsinki, January 10th, 2018. The President of the Republic of Estonia, Her Excellency Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid, received on January 9th, in a solemn audience held at the Presidential Palace in Tallinn, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Eduardo Lazo Pérez, who presented the Credentials that accredit him in those functions.

During the meeting, both interlocutors agreed on the importance they attach to the expansion of ties and political dialogue, both bilaterally and between the European Union and Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador attends the Helsinki-Habana direct flight opening ceremony of Finnair

Helsinki, December 1, 2017. A lively ceremony marked this Friday, December 1, the historic start of a regular direct flight of the airline Finnair that will link the cities of Helsinki and Havana with two flights weekly. The opening ceremony of the flight in Terminal 2 of Helsinki´s airport was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Finland, Mr. Eduardo Lazo Pérez, who thanked the directors and all the staff of the prestigious airline for the confidence deposited in his country when choosing it as a destination.
