It was with great pleasure that I accompanied the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Greece, Le Hong Truong, and other members of his Embassy, in celebrating the 79th anniversary of their National Day.
Together with other ambassadors, political leaders and parliamentarians, as well as various personalities from various spheres of Hellenic society, I attended the Ceremony of Remembrance of the Battle of Salamina.
Cuban Ambassador Aramís Fuente Hernández held a meeting with Ms. Sofía Kounenaki Efraimoglou, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Also present were Ms. María Zografou, Head of the International Relations Department, and Eleni Foti, Director of International Commercial Relations of the same Institution.
Mrs. Tsolaki Aikaterini, Associate Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Larisa, together with other directors, received the Cuban Ambassador, Aramís Fuente Hernández, at the headquarters of that Institution, within the framework of the visit that the diplomat made to that Region of north-central Greece.
As part of the visit to the region of Tesalia by the Cuban Ambassador, Aramís Fuente Hernández, a meeting was held to pay tribute to Cuban cinema. In the central square of Portaria, with the attendance of a large audience, the film Cuba Libre was shown.
