Cuba will hold a panel discussion on business opportunities for nationals residing abroad

Havana, November 22th. A panel discussion on business and investment opportunities for Cubans living abroad will take place on-line on December 1, within the framework of the II Cuba 2021 Business Forum, scheduled for November 29 to December 2.

This business forum, aimed specifically at our nationals abroad, constitutes one of the main novelties of the event and will contribute to the strengthening of ties, specifically in the economic-commercial sphere, between the nation and Cubans residing outside the country.

Ambassador of Cuba presents her Credentials to the King of Norway

Oslo, November 18, 2021 - This Thursday, at 11:30 a.m., the Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, presented, to His Majesty Harald V, King of Norway, the Credentials that accredit her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to this country.

In a cordial atmosphere, they spoke about the favorable trend of bilateral relations and expressed the will to continue working to strengthen them.

The King welcomed the Ambassador and wished her success in the fulfillment of her duties.

Ambassador of Cuba visits Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Norway

Oslo, November 17, 2021. Continuing the activities organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the accreditation process, Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres paid a visit to her homologue from Myanmar, H.E. Ms Maw Maw, Dean of Diplomatic Corps accredited in Oslo.

After congratulating her for the appointment, the Dean provided the Ambassador with useful advices and recommendations for the proper performance of her duties and for a pleasant stay in Norway. (Embacuba Noruega)

A fully support for Cuba in Oslo

Oslo, November 14, 2021. Members of the Association of Friendship with Cuba in Norway (Cubaforeningen i Norge), the Communist Party of Norway and other friends gathered in the square in front of Oslo Central Station to express their support for the reopening of Cuba on November 15. They also denounced the US blockade and the ongoing subversive campaign to overthrow the Cuban Revolution. (EmbaCuba Noruega)
