Ecological sailboat Statsraad Lehmkuhl arrived at the Port of Havana

Havana, November 24, 2021. The Norwegian sailboat Statsraad Lehmkuhl arrived at the port of Havana as part of its journey around the world to generate new knowledge about the use and preservation of marine resources.

During their stay in Cuba, from the 24th to the 28th of this month, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment will accompany the activities programmed with the crew, which aims to contribute to generating ocean research and knowledge of global interest.

The Association of Friendship with Cuba in Norway participates in the Globalization Conference 2021.

Oslo, November 23, 2021.  From November 19 to 21, the Association of Friendship with Cuba in Norway, Cubaforeningen i Norge, was present at the Globalization Conference 2021, organized by the Norwegian Social Forum.

During the three days of the event, which had solidarity as its central theme, the Association maintained a stand set up in which materials about Cuba, such as books, pins, posters and magazines were exhibited and distributed, motivating great interest among the participants.

Cuba will hold a panel discussion on business opportunities for nationals residing abroad

Havana, November 22th. A panel discussion on business and investment opportunities for Cubans living abroad will take place on-line on December 1, within the framework of the II Cuba 2021 Business Forum, scheduled for November 29 to December 2.

This business forum, aimed specifically at our nationals abroad, constitutes one of the main novelties of the event and will contribute to the strengthening of ties, specifically in the economic-commercial sphere, between the nation and Cubans residing outside the country.

Ambassador of Cuba presents her Credentials to the King of Norway

Oslo, November 18, 2021 - This Thursday, at 11:30 a.m., the Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, presented, to His Majesty Harald V, King of Norway, the Credentials that accredit her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to this country.

In a cordial atmosphere, they spoke about the favorable trend of bilateral relations and expressed the will to continue working to strengthen them.

The King welcomed the Ambassador and wished her success in the fulfillment of her duties.
