Ambassador of Cuba visits Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Norway

Oslo, November 17, 2021. Continuing the activities organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the accreditation process, Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres paid a visit to her homologue from Myanmar, H.E. Ms Maw Maw, Dean of Diplomatic Corps accredited in Oslo.

After congratulating her for the appointment, the Dean provided the Ambassador with useful advices and recommendations for the proper performance of her duties and for a pleasant stay in Norway. (Embacuba Noruega)

A fully support for Cuba in Oslo

Members of the Association of Friendship with Cuba in Norway (Cubaforeningen i Norge), the Communist Party of Norway and other friends gathered in the square in front of Oslo Central Station to express their support for the reopening of Cuba on November 15. STATEMENT

No to the aggression of the US imperialists and their lackeys against Cuba!

The Norwegian Communist Party condemns the provocations and subversive activities backed by the United States of counterrevolutionary groups in Cuba and abroad, which seek to create an image of social chaos and destabilization to justify an imperialist intervention against Cuba and its people, using the problems caused by the US blockade and criminal sanctions that were toughened during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ambassador exchanges with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Oslo, November 10, 2021. Continuing the activities organized as part of the accreditation process and presentation to the Norwegian authorities, Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres was received by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tore Hattrem.

In an atmosphere of cordiality, both expressed the will to work together to strengthen bilateral relations.
