London, December 8, 2022- The United Kingdom confirmed this week that the "continued US embargo against Cuba is counterproductive," which is why the country consistently votes in favor of the annual United Nations General Assembly resolution calling for it to be lifted.

London, 1 December 2022- Entitled Cuba Negra, Cuban guitarist Ahmed Dickinson gave a concert at London's The Africa Centre as part of the Echoes Festival. The repertoire was dedicated to Afro-Cuban music with the interpretation of pieces arranged for guitar and strings by composers from the Island, including Walfrido Dominguez, Leo Brower and Eduardo Martín.

Cubans living in the United Kingdom joined the solidarity initiative "A Ton of Love for Pinar del Río".

London, November 11, 2022-. The Association "Cubanos in UK" joined the solidarity initiative "A Ton of Love for Pinar del Río".

From the hands of Miriam Palacios, member of the leadership of the aforementioned Association, 100 kilograms of basic necessities were sent from the United Kingdom to Paris, where, early today, the caravan of Cubans in Europe started its journey to support Cuba.

Welsh Parliament Member has tabled a statement of solidarity with Cuba

London, 9 November 2022- Plaid Cymru Member of the Welsh Parliament (known as the Senedd) Luke Fletcher has tabled a statement of opinion expressing solidarity with the people of Cuba and urging the Welsh government to develop ties with the Caribbean island in areas of mutual interest. 

The statement, officially tabled on 4 November a day after the UN vote on the Cuban resolution against the blockade, has so far been signed by 10 of the 60 members of the Welsh Parliament.
