The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernández, offered an interview to the journalist Raihana Abdeljalek Sawabi from Radio El Cairo station, in relation with the celebration in 2019 of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Egypt.
The Ambassador of Cuba participated in a fraternal meeting at the headquarters of the Egyptian Cartoonist Association where ways to celebrate the 70 years of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Egypt were explored.
Renowned personalities of the Egyptian graphic humor, the board of the Egyptian Cartoonist Association, the President of the Egypt-Cuba Friendship Association and officials of the Cuban Embassy took part in this meeting.

The meeting, in which other Al Fatah officials also participated, was nuanced by the friendship that unites both peoples and the usual exchange on topics of common interest, in particular the support of Cuba to the Palestinian cause.
