Cuban Foreign Ministry rejects alleged interference in U.S. elections

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected in the strongest terms the accusations of alleged interference by this Caribbean nation in the local electoral campaigns of the state of Florida, in the United States.

Through a statement published on its website, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs detailed that articles in The Miami Herald newspaper and others from the McClatchy press organization, to which the newspaper belongs, began a new slanderous campaign against the island at the end of July.

Cuban government denies involvement in alleged violent practices in Venezuela

Havana, August 20. --The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) issued a statement on Tuesday in which the island's government denies any type of involvement in alleged actions of repression, espionage, persecution and torture in Venezuela.

According to the text, the desperation to hide the failure of coup plans in the South American nation led a representative of the U.S. oligarchies and geostrategic interests "to try to deceive public opinion with false and malicious accusations" against Cuba.

Cuba activates Evisa, the new electronic visa platform

Cuba's electronic tourist visas, known as Evisa, is now active, Tourism Minister Juan Carlos García Granda announced in a tweet. This modern and secure system streamlines and simplifies visa application and management processes, allowing users to start their procedures virtually from any device connected to the Internet.
