Embassy of China in Seychelles celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China

Victoria, September 19th. The Chinese Embassy in Seychelles celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. H.E. Ms. Lin Nan, Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles, underlined the excellent bilateral ties between China and Seychelles, strengthened by the participation of the President, H.E. Wavel Ramkalawan, at the China-Africa Cooperation Summit (FOCAC) held from 4-6 September 2024, where the two countries also upgraded the relations to the level of “strategic partnership”.

Official visit of the President of the Republic of Seychelles to Cuba

His Excellency Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Cuba from 16th to 20th September 2024, in response to an official invitation extended to him by Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Cuba and Seychelles have maintained historic relations of friendship and cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations on April 12th, 1978.
