Cuban Embassy in Seychelles invited to the official opening of Mize Koko Museum

Invited by the Creative Agency of the National Institute of Culture, Heritage and Arts of Seychelles, members of the Cuban Embassy attended the official opening of the Mize Koko, a museum entirely dedicated to the recognition and appreciation of the coconut fruit, its importance and contribution to the traditions and culture of Seychelles. 

Seychelles represented at first International Congress on Cultural Heritage in Cuba

The secretary general (SG) of the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, David André, headed a delegation to Cuba to attend the first International Congress on Cultural Heritage held under the ‘Meeting of the Ministers of Culture of the Group of 77 and China-Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development', from May 2-6, 2023.

The May 2-6 meeting was held at the Havana International Conference Centre (Palacio de las Convenciones).

Cuban Ambassador visits the National Assembly of Seychelles.

The Cuban Ambassador in Seychelles, Martha Hernández Caneiro, was received at the headquarters of the National Assembly by the Leader of the Government Party in Parliament LDS, Honorable Bernard Georges and by the Chairman of the International Affairs Committee, Honorable Waven William. 

Both meetings highlighted the historic ties of friendship that have characterized relations between Cuba and Seychelles since April 12, 1978, when diplomatic relations between the two governments were established.

Cuba's president presided over a review of the country's foreign policy

Havana, Mar 14 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel described his country's foreign policy on Tuesday as effective, rigorous, committed, prestigious, ethical and a world reference.

In a meeting with members of the island's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take stock of the results achieved during 2022, Díaz-Canel highlighted the role of Cuban diplomacy during more than six decades of hard struggle for the Revolution.
