Havana International Fair -- FIHAV 2022 -- returns

After two years of COVID 19 pandemic, the Havana International Fair is back, an opportunity to show Cuba's potential and promote business in important branches between national and foreign companies.

More than 60 nations have confirmed their attendance to the event, which shows the confidence and interest in the Cuban market, despite the U.S. blockade that seeks to hinder the commercial relations of the Caribbean nation with the rest of the world.

Overwhelming victory for Cuba at the UN: 185 countries vote against the blockade

United Nations, November 3 (RHC)-- Cuba celebrates Thursday a new victory in its struggle against the U.S. blockade, by achieving overwhelming support in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for a resolution approved by 185 votes in favor, two against and two abstentions.

The two countries voting against the resolution were the United States and Israel.   The two absentions were Ukraine and Brazil.  

Cuba Appreciates Letter to Joe Biden by Former Regional Leaders

Cuban President and Communist Party Leader thanked former presidents and heads of government from Latin American and Caribbean nations for having addressed a letter to US President Joe Biden urging him to lift the over-60-year US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.

On his Twitter account (shorturl.at/begnT) , the Cuban head of state described the gesture as a friendship and honesty act that moved the Cuban people.

Seychelles Minister of Health receives Cuban Ambassador.

Victoria, October 25_. Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles Martha Hernandez Caneiro, was received Tuesday by the Minister of Health, Mrs. Peggy Vidot, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Seychelles.

During the cordial meeting, both parties discussed the current state of Cuban medical collaboration in the country, future perspectives, as well as other issues of common interest to both parties.
