Minister of Health of Rwanda payed an official visit to Cuba.

Havana. From February 29 to March 6, the Honorable Sabin Nsanzimana, Minister of Health of Rwanda, led the delegation of the Ministry of Public that carried out an official visit to Cuba.

 

During it, they visited the main health and research centers on the island and signed three bilateral agreements on cooperation between both Ministries, the drug regulatory agencies and the contracting of Cuban medical services.

 

This year, Cuba and Rwanda celebrate 45 years of establishing diplomatic relations.

Cuba awards Jacob Oulayah post mortem with the Friendship Medal

Kampala. On the morning of February 8, the Honorable Andrew Oulayah and his brother Harold Adiyo Oulanyah, received the post mortem decoration awarded by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba to the late president of the Ugandan Parliament Jacob Oulayah.

 

Cuban Ambassador Tania Pérez Xiqués pointed out that the Friendship Medal is a distinction in recognition of a history of solidarity with Cuba and unconditional attachment to the defense of the Cuban Revolution.

Cuba awards Kahinda Otafiire with the Friendship Medal

Kampala. On the afternoon of February 7, the Honorable Kahinda Otaffire, president of the Global Pan-African Movement, received the friendship medal awarded by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba.

 

The Cuban Ambassador Tania Pérez Xiqués pointed out that the Friendship Medal is a distinction awarded in recognition of a history of solidarity with Cuba and unconditional attachment to the defense of the Cuban Revolution.

Ambassador of Cuba on a new visit to the Uganda Management Institute

Kampala. On the morning of today, February 2, the Ambassador of Cuba Tania Pérez was received again at the Uganda Management Institute by its Director General Dr James L. Nkaata.

 

The meeting made it possible to receive the current status of the cooperation project between that Ugandan institution and the “Raúl Roa Kouri” Institute of International Relations in Cuba.

 

Dr Nkaata heads the delegation of that institution that will attend the Higher Education event “University 2024” to be held in Havana, Cuba next week.
