Kampala. On the morning of November 21, the Honorable Jeje Odongo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, received the Cuban Ambassador Tania Pérez Xiques.

The Ugandan minister praised the contribution of the work of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Kampala to the progress experienced in bilateral relations in the period.

For her part, the Cuban diplomat thanked the support received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ugandan authorities for the development of her work in the period 2022-2024.

Kampala. On the morning of November 14, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda and the Ministry of Education of Cuba.

The Honorable Dr. John Chrysestom Muyingo, Deputy Minister of Education, headed the Ugandan delegation and was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary and several Commissioners. The Cuban side was represented by Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques.
