Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba presents Copies of Credentials at the Saudi Foreign Ministry.

Riyadh, February 13th - The new designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was summoned to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to present Copies of his Letters of Credentials to the Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed Al-Smari. The Third Secretary of the Embassy, Vicente Ibrahin Abad Abad, also attended the meeting.

First Deputy Foreign Minister concludes his working visit to Saudi Arabia and Oman

Riyadh, January 14th – A delegation headed by the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, paid an intense but fruitful working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman from January 10th to 14th, 2025, as part of a regional tour that also included Qatar and Kuwait.

Cuba had an outstanding participation in the IGF 2024 in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, December 20th – Cuba had an outstanding participation in the XIX Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2024), which held from December 15th to 19th at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in the Saudi capital, under the overarching theme: "Building our multistakeholder digital future".

Cuba attends WIPO Diplomatic Conference in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, November 17th – Cuba is participating in the Diplomatic Conference of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), being held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, from November 11th to 22nd, 2024.

In this international conclave, aimed at concluding and adopting the Treaty on the Law of Designs, the delegation of the Island is made up of the Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom, Vladimir Gonzalez, and the Third Secretary of the Embassy, Vicente Abad.

Cuba attended international meeting for Palestine in Riyadh

Riyadh, October 31st – The first High-Level Meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, launched by the Kingdom on September 26th, 2024 coinciding with the High-Level Segment of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was held in the Saudi Arabian capital from October 30th to 31st, 2024.
