Ambassador Jorge P. Leon Cruz, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Malaysia in Lebanon, in posthumous tribute to the death of the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, H:E. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, on April 14. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who passed away on 14 April.
They advocate the strengthening of interbank ties between Lebanon and Cuba
The Vice-President of Fransabank in Lebanon, Adan Kassar, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Jorge P. León Cruz, who was warmly welcomed and wished success in the performance of his mission.
The occasion was an opportunity to review the positive inter-bank links and exchanges and the satisfactory commercial relations existing between Lebanon and Cuba.
Lebanon present at the 4th Patria Colloquium
A delegation of the pan-Arab channel Al Mayedeen, headed by the director of Latin America, Wafica Mehdi, is participating in the IV Coloquio Patria, which is being held from 17 to 19 March at the University of Havana and the PABEXPO fairgrounds, where the Lebanese network is taking part with an exhibition stand in the Hall of Communication Experiences.
Cuban Citizenship Granted in Lebanon
At the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Lebanon, Ambassador Jorge P. Leon Cruz, delivered to the minor Nasser Farran Fernandez, the Certificate of Granting of Cuban Citizenship by Birth.
Mayra Nieves Escobar, in charge of consular affairs and Nasser's parents, Dr. Amer Farran Gil and Maricel Fernandez Machado, both Cuban citizens residing in the country, were present.
Cuba and Lebanon advocate the strengthening of bilateral ties in the health sector.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, received Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz, who handed him a letter of invitation to participate in the V International Convention ‘Cuba Health 2025’.
During the cordial meeting, the excellent ties of friendship and the mutual willingness to continue working for the strengthening of bilateral relations between Cuba and Lebanon were noted.
