Cubans, Lebanese and Palestinians pay tribute to the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution

Beirut, November 26, 2020. Cubans, Lebanese and Palestinians paid tribute to the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz on the fourth anniversary of his physical disappearance.

In a first tribute, children and young people of the Cuban community broadcast on social networks an audiovisual that collects photos, poems and drawings of the youngest dedicated to Fidel, as well as fragments of moments of the Commander in Chief with the new generations.

Cuban President and Chancellor congratulate their Lebanese counterparts on the occasion of the independence

Beirut, November 22 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, sent a congratulatory message to his Lebanese counterpart, General Michel Aoun, on the occasion of the celebration of the 77th anniversary of the independence of the Lebanese Republic. 

Meanwhile, Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, also congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, Charbel Wehbi, the Cuban diplomat ratified the will of Cuba to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Cuban Ambassador participates in meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister

Beirut, November 4, 2020. The Cuban Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, was part of a plenary of Latin American and Caribbean Heads of Mission that met with the acting Lebanese Foreign Minister, Charbel Wehbi.

The conversation focused on the complex political, economic, social and epidemiological situation in the country of cedars and the need for the new executive to implement urgent measures to revitalize the national economy.

Cubans in Lebanon honor National Culture Day

Beirut, October 20, 2020. Cubans living in Lebanon together with diplomats today honored the National Culture Day by interpreting the anthem of La Bayamesa and the famous Guantanamera.

The missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba summoned residents and diplomatic representatives to sing the composition of the patriot Perucho Figueredo, inspired by those who began the fight for the country's independence.
