Cuban President and Chancellor congratulate their Lebanese counterparts on the occasion of the 76 anniversary of the independence

Beirut, November 22 2019. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, sent a congratulatory message to his Lebanese counterpart, General Michel Aoun, on the occasion of the celebration of the 76th anniversary of the independence of the Lebanese Republic.

Meanwhile, Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, also congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, Gebran Bassil, the Cuban diplomat ratified the will of Cuba to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Secretary General of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry receives the Cuban Ambassador

Beirut, 12 september 2019. The General Director of Political and Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon Mr. Ghadi Khoury received the Ambassador of Cuba Alexander Pellicer Moraga, in the Boutros Palace the headquarters of the Ministry.

In the cordial meeting, bilateral issues and the situation in the Middle East and Latin America were discussed, while the interest of both parties to continue working to strengthen cooperation ties in all spheres of common interest was reaffirmed.

Cubans in Lebanon evoked the Day of National Rebellion

Beirut, July 29, 2019.- The Cuban Embassy in Lebanon hosted the celebration in this country of the 66th anniversary of the assault to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.

The event was attended by members of the Cuban community living in Lebanon, as well as Palestinians and Lebanese graduates of Cuban universities and members of the diplomatic mission.

Meeting of Arab Nationalist Parties and Movements supports the Cuban Revolution

Beirut, July 3, 2019. On the morning of today, the Embassy of Cuba was visited by a delegation of the Meeting of Arab Nationalist Parties and Movements to express their support for the Cuban Revolution in the face of the aggressive policy of the Trump administration against the island and in particular in front of the reinforcement of the economic, commercial and financial blockade that causes so much damage in the population of the country.

Hike for Martí and in solidarity with Cuba and Venezuela

Beirut, May 19, 2019. On the morning of today took place in the Lebanese town of Abey, a hike to pay tribute to the National Hero of Cuba José Martí on the 124th Anniversary of his death in combat.

The tribute to the most universal of the Cubans was also an opportunity to express solidarity and support to Cuba and Venezuela of the Lebanese, Palestinians, Venezuelans and Cubans who participated.
