Cuba present at the Kolkata International Film Festival.

Last week the second Kolkata International Film Festival concluded, in whose program the Cuban film “Habanastation” was presented twice. The film was shown with wide attendance and reception from the public and was included along with other Latin American productions. The festival held in Kolkata, capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, is organized by the Federation of Indian Film Societies and has the support of the Academy of the Hindi Hispanic Language in this country.

Communist Party of India condemns terrorist attack against Cuban Embassy in the United States

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued a statement on September 26 in which it strongly condemns the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy in Washington and demands the United States Government to take immediate action against the perpetrators. The statement recalls that this is not the first attack against the Cuban embassy in this city, which is why the current events require an even stronger condemnation.

New Delhi (PL) Sanjay Verma, Secretary for West, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India, described his participation in the recently concluded Summit of the G77+China in Cuba, as a privilege.  A privilege to represent MEA at the G77 Summit in the beautiful city of Havana, the Indian diplomat stressed in a publication in the social network X, formerly Twitter.

South Asia Correspondents Club welcomes the Cuban Ambassador to India.

The South Asia Correspondents Club welcomed the Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas, in an interactive meeting with representatives of different media outlets in this country. In his welcoming remarks, Venkat Narayan, President of the institution, highlighted that Cuba is a country admired in India for its historical relations, the island's social achievements and its capacity for resistance.
