Consolidating the cooperation on multilateral issues with Indonesia

Jakarta, April 10- At the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director of Development, Economic and Environmental Affairs, Tri Purnajaya, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Indonesia, Tania Velázquez López.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged about the historical cooperation between Cuba and Indonesia in multilateral matters, mainly within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement, of which both Indonesia and Cuba have been historical leaders, in support of the Cuban Resolution against the blockade and in the matter of candidacies.

Second Habanos Night in Indonesia

Jakarta, April 4- The second "Habanos Night" was held in this capital, with a live sample from a Cuban cigar roller, as part of the promotion of the Cuban tobacco in this country.

In the opening remarks, Mr. Aldy Kusuma, CEO of the Indonesian company PT Tembakau International, offered a warm welcome to all those attending the event, as well as a brief explanation about Habanos, knowledge he acquired during his participation in the Master Course of the Habanos Academy, held in Havana last December.

In Indonesia, real Cuban tobacco is unveiled

Jakarta, 2 April- A promotion for Cuban tobacco was held in the "Terraza del Habano," a Kempinski hotel on the island of Bali, with a sample of a Cuban cigar roller in the midst of a nice setting.

The celebration included a live demonstration of a Cuban cigar roller with the great protagonist of the encounter: the Cuban Habano. It was jointly organised by the Cuban Embassy in this nation, the Indonesian business "PT Tembakau Internasional," and the exclusive distributor of Cuban tobacco in the Asia Pacific region, "The Pacific Cigar Company Limited."

Beginning of discussion with the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

Jakarta, 5 March- At the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) headquarters, its Secretary General Ms. HE Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, received the Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Indonesia, Tania Velázquez López, in a courtesy visit.

In conversation during the meeting, the two officials discussed the longstanding friendship between the Caribbean island and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), a group of ten nations in Southeast Asia.
