Cuba's advances in women's empowerment is exalted in Laos

Vientiane, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's progress in empowering women as agents of change and in eliminating the scourges that plague them, were highlighted here today by professors from the Lao National University.

In a meeting with the Cuban ambassador in Laos, Enna Viant, on the occasion of International Women's Day, professors from the Spanish department of that institution pointed out that overcoming gender discrimination in all its expression is a fully achievable goal. if accompanied by the necessary political will.

Vientiane, March 8, 2023.- The Cuban Ambassador H.E. Enna Viant Valdes thanked the Lao friends for the congratulations received on the occasion of International Women's Day. In the same way, she highlighted the sending of baskets of flowers, in particular the message conveyed by the president of the People´s Supreme Court, Comrade Viengthone Siphandone as well as the professors representing the Faculty of Letters of the Lao National University, where the achievements made by Cuban women, during more than 60 years of Revolution were exalted.

Vientiane, March 3, 2023.- The Lao National Television interviewed the Ambassador of Cuba accredited in this capital, H.E. Mrs.  Enna Viant Valdes, occasion in which she addressed various issues, including bilaterals and prospects for relations that reach half a century next year.
