Vientiane November 23, 2022. The respective ambassadors of Cuba and Laos Enna Viant Valdes and Vantah Sengmuang, were invited to the videoconference held between the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and the Lao Women's Union (LWU).
After a long break in face-to-face meetings for various reasons, including the strong global impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the exchanges were delayed. Despite them, various alternative contacts were maintained and the year 2022 now closes, with the fruitful dialogue held during this video conference.

Vientiane, November 2 (Prensa Latina) Laos is a consistent, responsible and coherent friend in supporting Cuba in its fight against the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the United States, affirmed Ambassador Enna Viant. In an interview with Prensa Latina, the diplomat assured that this support can be verified at all levels, is unconditional, permanent, and recalled that during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Lao Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith reiterated his unrestricted support of his country to the Cuban cause.
