The vicepresident of the CubanParliament and the Council of State visits Laos

The vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, Ana Maria Mari Machado, is on an official visit to the Lao PDR, fulfilling an invitation from the National Assembly of that country. President of the Lao PDR will make a state visit to Cuba

Vientiane September 7, 2023. The President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, will lead a delegation to pay a state visit to the Republic of Cuba, and later attend the Summit of the Group of 77 and China.

The visit aims to deepen and strengthen the historical relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Laos and Cuba and promote the necessary ties in the pressing issues of technology and innovation, in which the Lao Foreign Ministry agrees.
