Celebrated in Laos the 62nd anniversary of the victory of Girón and the result of the elections in Cuba.

Vientine, April 21, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba celebrated in the presence of Dr. Chaleun Yiapahoer, vice president of the Lao National Assembly and president of the Friendship Association, as well as the Lao-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, the 62nd Anniversary of the victory of Playa Girón, the first major military defeat of the US in Latin America and the results of the recent elections in Cuba.

Successful videoconference between leaders of the PCC and the PPRL

Virtual meeting between institutions of brother Parties CUBA - LAOS

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba participated in the video conference held between the highest representatives of the Foreign Relations Commission of the CC PPR Lao Cro. Thongsavanh Phomvihane and the Head of the Department of External Relations of the CC of the PCC, Cro. Emilio Lozada Garcia.

Thongsavanh extended congratulations on the occasion of the positive results obtained in the national elections of the past March 26.

Both parties confirmed the excellent development of partisan relations.

The Lao Foreign Ministry celebrates the advent of the traditional Lao New Year 2566

Vientiane April 7, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba participated together with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in this capital, in the celebration for the advent of the Lao New Year, or Pi Mai number 2566, which traditionally takes place between April 14 and 16.

An enthusiastic crowd in an atmosphere full of joy, welcomed the meeting organized in Peuksa, by the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after 3 years of pandemic
