Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia donate books on José Martí to the national library

Kuala Lumpur, March 9- On the occasion of the 165th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban National Hero, José Marti, the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, donated three books on his outstanding live and work, to the General Director of the National Library of Malaysia, Dato Nafisah Ahmad,

The ambassador expressed that the books will contribute to enlarge the knowledge of Cuba in Malaysia, through one of its most illustrious sons and to expand bilateral relations in the cultural sector.

Cuban and Malaysian representatives assess the progress of bilateral ties

Kuala Lumpur, February 12- The ambassador of Cuba in Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, was received by Mrs. Kamsiah Kamairuddin, director of Americas of the Malaysian chancellery, on the occasion of assuming this new position.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the development of bilateral ties and agreed on the need to strengthen them through the exchange of experiences in sectors of mutual interest and high-level delegations to deepen the political dialogue.

Cuba participates in 9th World Urban Forum

Kuala Lumpur, February 8- A Cuban delegation headed by Dr. Anelys Marichal, Director General of Territorial Planning and Urbanism of Cuba, participates in the 9th World Urban Forum that was inaugurated today in Malaysia and will run until February 13.
