Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka visits the Minister of Health

Colombo, Sri Lanka, August 26, Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Health of Sri Lanka received the Ambassador of Cuba Andrés Marcelo González Garrido at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health.

In the cordial meeting, the Ambassador of Cuba exchanged on the initiatives of the government of his country to combat the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as the vaccination programs for the population with the application of vaccines developed in Cuba.

Sri Lanka Cuba Friendship Association expresses its solidarity

Sri Lanka, August 3, Members of the Sri Lanka Cuba Friendship Association expressed their solidarity with Cuba during a visiting to the Cuban Embassy in Sri Lanka, where they were received by Ambassador Andrés Marcelo González Garrido.

The Secretary General of the Association M. H. M. A. Razvi and Upali Bandara, a member of the board, reiterated their support to Cuba in its fight against the aggressions of the United States.

Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka visits the People’s Liberation Front Party (JVP).

Sri Lanka, August 2, The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka Andres Marcelo Gonzalez Garrido paid a visit to the headquarters of the party People’s Liberation Front (JVP) where he was received by its party leader Anura Dissanayake, also member of the Sri Lanka Parliament.

During the fraternal meeting, were exchanged ideas and the existing relations with the JVP and Cuba, as well the permanent solidarity and sympathies that they profess for the Cuban Revolution and its historical leaders.

Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka receive the Ambassador of Cuba

Sri Lanka July 30, The Ambassador of Cuba in Sri Lanka, Andres Marcelo Gonzalez Garrido was received, in a courtesy call, at the seat of the Parliament of Sri Lanka by the Honorable Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana.

During the meeting, the friendly relations between the two countries and parliaments were highlighted.
