Meeting of the Sri Lanka Cuba Friendship Association
Sri Lanka, December 15, 2021, Chaired by the President of the Sri Lanka Cuba Friendship Association, Honorable Dinesh Gunawardena, was held a meeting of the leadership of this outstanding friendship organization, formed by different parties and organizations in Sri Lanka that have traditionally maintained an invariable position of support to the Cuban Revolution.
Cuba and Maldives sign cooperation agreement on Health
Havana, December 9, 2021, A delegation from the Republic of Maldives chaired by Dr. Sha Abdulla Mahir, Minister of State for Health signed in this capital an agreement for the expansion of medical collaboration between the two countries.
Minister Mahir was received by Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, Minister of Public Health, on which occasion the Cooperation Agreement was signed.
In Sri Lanka, the Cuban Ambassador is received at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce
Sri Lanka, December 3, 2021. The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, paid a courtesy visit to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, where he was received by its President Vish Govindasamy.
The cordial meeting revealed the signing in 2019 of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba.
