Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera, Vice Head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Party, spoke on behalf of the Communist Party of Cuba in the Web seminar, Lenin, 100 years later, which was organized and coordinated by the Communist Party of Sri Lanka and was developed via web with the participation of China, Vietnam, Cuba, India, South Africa, Nepal and Russia.

Sri Lanka-Cuba Friendship Association celebrates activity for the 65th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

The Sri Lanka-Cuba Friendship Association held a tribute activity for the 65th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, which we commemorated last January 1st.
At the event, Honorale Dr. Susil Premajayantha, member of Parliament, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Friendship Association, in his words referred to the historical relations between the two countries and the cooperation they have always received from Cuba.

Prime Minister of Sri Lanka receives Cuban ambassador

Colombo, December 18, 2023. The Cuban ambassador Andrés Marcelo González Garrido held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dinesh Gunawardena, in which they discussed possible exchanges in the field of Health, with the assistance of Cuban experience in the eradication of the mosquito that transmits dengue, as well as collaboration in the development of coconut cultivation and the sending of a donation of seeds to Cuba.
