Diaz-Canel attends the XXIII ALBA-TCP Summit

Havana, 24 April 2024 - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic,  will participate in the XXIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Trade and Peoples' Agreement (ALBA-TCP), which is being held today in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Ambassador participates in reception hosted by the Netherlands embassy

Canberra, 24 April 2024. The Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez participated in the reception at the Embassy of the Netherlands on occasion of the King's birthday.

During the ceremony, the ambassador had the opportunity to exchange with the ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mrs. Ardi Stoios-Braken, on the state of bilateral relations between both countries.

Ambassador participates in monthly meeting of the Women's International Club of Canberra

Canberra, 22 April 2024. The Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez participated in the monthly meeting of the Women's International Club of Canberra (WIC).

The occasion was an opportunity to exchange with its president, Robyn Tulloh.

The WIC is a women’s friendship club established in 1964. It currently has 300 members, Australian and international women, representing around 50 countries. The Club is not-for-profit, international in scope and has as its focus multicultural understanding and friendship.

Friends of Cuba in Sydney demanded the end of the blockade

Sydney, 20 April 2024. Members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) demonstrated against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States government in Sydney.

Friends in solidarity carried signs denouncing the blockade and supporting the Cuban Revolution.
