Geneva, November 4, 2025. Speaking at the Plenary Session on Reform Process of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Chargé d'Affaires Rebeca Hernández Toledo reiterated the importance of multilateralism, inclusivity, and transparency in the WTO, as well as the defense of decision-making by consensus, as established in the Marrakech Agreement.
The members of the Geneva branch of the Swiss-Cuba Solidarity Association issued a forceful public declaration of support for the Cuban people and rejection of this criminal policy, on the eve of the debate and vote in the United Nations General Assembly, on October 28-29, on the resolution presented by Cuba condemning the United States economic, commercial, and financial blockade.
For more than six decades, successive United States governments have unsuccessfully attempted to destroy the Cuban Revolution through a criminal and illegal economic, commercial, and financial blockade.
