Precisely because of our history, the present and the future we are building, many in the world admire the Cuban Revolution, the indomitable resistance of our people in the face of external hostility and the work of justice and humanism that we defend.
Gerardo Peñalver Portal, reiterated Cuba strong rejection to the Israeli military aggression and occupation of the Palestinian territory. He also condemned Israel's military operation in the Jenin Refugee Camp, which has resulted in numerous deaths and more than fifty civilians wounded, a fact he considered as a serious threat to stability and peace in the Middle East.
