Cuba participates in "Indian Saree Show" in Monrovia.

Monrovia, September 11, 2022 - Organized by the Embassy of India in Liberia and the Indian Women's Association on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Independence of the Asian country, took place in Monrovia the "Indian Saree Show", a festival that brought the public closer to the culture of India.

The Cuban Embassy in Liberia was represented by the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, who participated in this event that revealed traditions and customs of India, being present its dance, gastronomy and art.

Cuban Head of Mission receives Liberian official of International Cooperation.

Monrovia, August 29, 2022 - Today, the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera received the official of the Division of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Aaron Guanue, with whom she held a fruitful working meeting.

During the exchange, they followed up on the fulfillment of bilateral agreements between both nations.

Cuban Head of Mission receives Liberian students studying medicine in Cuba.

Monrovia, August 25, 2022 - This afternoon, the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera received at the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia David Kokulo Sumu and Francis Maweah, Liberian students studying medicine in our country. 

The meeting was full of emotions and experiences told by both Liberian students, who consider themselves "Cubans born in another country" and identify themselves with Cuba and its Revolution.

Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia is invited to Angie Brooks International Center event.

Monrovia, August 19, 2022 - Cuban Head of Mission in Monrovia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, responding to an invitation from the Angie Brooks International Center (ABIC) for Women's Empowerment, Leadership Development, Peace and International Security, participated in the official closing of the project "Inclusive and Sustainable Peace in Liberia through the Promotion of Women's Leadership".

At the event, women from two of the country's counties issued criteria on the promotion of Women's leadership on the topic at hand.
