Embacuba Liberia staff remembers Mandela on the 104th anniversary of his birth.

Monrovia, July 18, 2022 - Today marks the 104th anniversary of the birth of one of the most remembered, prominent and influential men in international politics, Nelson Mandela. On July 18, we celebrate worldwide the day of this gigantic leader of the South African people.

As an activist, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, is remembered for leading the fight against the so-called "apartheid", and became a universal symbol of peace for his fight against racism in his country.

Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia participates in celebration of French National Day.

Monrovia, July 14, 2022 - At the invitation of the French Embassy in the Republic of Liberia, Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera attended the reception held on the occasion of the National Day of the French Republic.

The celebration was attended by members of the Cabinet, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps and businessmen of the European country.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group issues a Declaration of support and solidarity to the Revolution and the Cuban people.

Monrovia, July 9, 2022.- July 11 marks the first anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people against the most recent attempt by the enemies of the Revolution and those who allow themselves to be dragged along by malicious appeals to alter the peace and tranquility of the island of Cuba, so necessary to defeat the effects of the criminal U.S. blockade and advance on the path of building a more just, sustainable, prosperous and participatory society. 

Ambassador of Lebanon in Liberia visits Cuban Embassy.

Monrovia, June 29, 2022 - This afternoon, the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia received at its headquarters the visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon in Liberia Henri Kastoun, who had a friendly exchange with the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Cuba and Lebanon established diplomatic relations on June 15, 1960 and were elevated to the level of Embassy on April 19 a year later; at present both countries ratify their will to continue developing the historical ties of friendship and cooperation.
