Cuba and Nigeria sign the document Expression of Interest in Biotechnology in the framework of the BioHabana 2022 event.

Nigeria, April 30, 2022. As a result of the excellent work carried out by an important Nigerian delegation that traveled to Cuba to participate in the BioHabana2022 conference, the Nigerian ambassador to Cuba, His Excellency Ben Okoyen, and Dr. Eduardo Martínez, president of BioCubaFarma, signed an "Expression of Interest" agreement in biotechnology, an action that reveals steps of progress in bilateral relations between both countries.

I have to report that Washington has decided to exclude the Republic of Cuba from the preparations for the 9th Summit of the Americas to be held in Los Angeles on 8th to 10th June and is presently exerting extreme pressures on numerous governments in the region which, privately and respectfully, oppose our exclusion.
