Cuba demands US respect its sovereignty

Havana, December 1, 2020.- The General Director in charge of the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, affirmed that Cuba will defend its sovereignty against the aggressions the United States currently intensifies.

Cuba will not tolerate intervention in its internal affairs and will always defend its right to self-determination, the Cuban diplomat said on a television appearance on Monday to denounce that the US Embassy in Havana was involved in those acts of destabilization.

Suva, November 4, 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Tupou VI, Head of State of Tonga, on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the constitution of that Kingdom of the South Pacific.

President Díaz-Canel ratified "the will to continue developing the bonds of friendship between our countries".
