Cuban president continues program of activities in Moscow.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Soviet soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War.  At around 11 am local time on Monday, the head of state arrived at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, located in front of the Kremlin wall.

Hours earlier, he held a meeting with Guennadi Andrèyevich Ziugànov, general secretary of the Russian Communist Party, in the context of his official visit to this country.

Presidents of Cuba and Algeria report results of meeting.

The presidents of Algeria, Abdelmajid Tebboune, and Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, announced Thursday in Algiers the results of a meeting in which they agreed to boost economic, trade, financial and cooperation ties.

Speaking to the press after the meeting between the two heads of state at the Presidential Palace 'El Muradia', Tebboune told the media that it was decided to cancel the debt services and postpone their repayment to another time.

Algiers, November 17, 2022.-  Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmajid Tebboune, on his birthday and thanked him for receiving the Cuban delegation.

Díaz-Canel arrived on Wednesday in Algiers, first destination of his international tour, set to end on November 27th, and which also includes Russia, Turkey and China.

There is optimism and confidence in Cuba's potentials.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez took part in the opening of the XXXVIII Havana International Fair at the Expocuba exhibition center in the capital.

After two years without taking place due to the international COVID pandemic, national and foreign businessmen, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country are participating in this edition.

A documentary is screened in Trinidad and Tobago in homage to the victims of the attack on the Cubana de Aviación plane in Barbados.

The first part of the documentary "Cubana 455 Chronicle of October 6", by director Enrique Berumen, was screened at the headquarters of the Insurance and Banking Workers Union in this capital, in an activity organized by the political leader of the Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) David Abdulah. The event was attended by members of unions, the Trinidad & Tobago Friends of Cuba Solidarity Association (TTFC), as well as representatives of the Cuban Medical Brigade and the Embassies of Cuba and Venezuela.
