Port of Spain, June 15, 2018. In the presence of the Minister of Education of Trinidad and Tobago, Honorable Anthony Garcia, the first stage of the Spanish language, literature, culture and education course was closed at the NALIS Library . This course was taught with the collaboration of the Latin American Embassies and Spain.
Los Angeles de San Miguel Parang Band recently concluded a short but successful cultural tour to Cuba and band spokesperson Ingrid dos Santos was only too willing to share the good news with T&T Guardian.
The band’s first official activity was a courtesy call at the T&T Embassy, which was followed by a historical educational tour of Havana City, made possible and organised by the Ministerio de Cultura, Cuba
The main event was a concert on May 31, at the Centro Hispanoamericano de Cultura, under the auspices of T&T Ambassador to Cuba Dr Lancelot Cowie, supported by Jude Carasquero, representative of T&T’s Trade Mission to Cuba.Havana
Port of Spain, June 14. - The School of pre-university studies "Bishop Anstey" selected Cuba to represent Latin America in its annual cultural festival, in which France, South Africa and India were also represented by their respective continents. For this occasion representatives of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Port of Spain were invited.
From June 5 to 6, 2018, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba made a working visit to Trinidad and Tobago.

Cuba reiterates the will to continue strengthening its historic relations with Trinidad and Tobago.
Port of Spain, June 6.- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, successfully concluded his work visit to Trinidad and Tobago. The Cuban diplomat had the opportunity to dialogue about the dynamic economic and trade relation between both countries. The results of this relationship have made of this Caribbean island one of Cuba’s main trade partners in the entire region of Latin America and the Caribbean.
