This year the date marks the Anniversaries 56 of the Young Communists Union (UJC, in Spanish) and 57 of the Organization of Pioneers José Martí (OPJM, in Spanish).
Nassau, April 9, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba to the Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, attended a few hours ago to the traditional Easter Tea Party, an invitation of the Governor General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling.
The main objective of this event is to maintain the tradition of tea and strengthen relations between the women of the Bahamian society as well as the ones in diplomatic missions represented in The Bahamas.

NASSAU, 22 March 2018. - Yesterday the President of the National Congress of Trade Unions of the Bahamas (NCTUB), Bernard Evans, received the Cuban Ambassador, Ismara Vargas Walter at the headquarters of this institution.
At the meeting, both parties reviewed the issues of mutual interest and ratified their commitment to strengthening relations between the Workers Central Union of Cuba (CTC) and the NCTUB, taking into account the existing memorandum of understanding, signed early 2015.
