THE BAHAMAS, June 26, 2017. -The Cuban Ambassador to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, paid a courtesy call on the new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. K. Peter Turnquest, at his office.

NASSAU, 16 May 2017.-The Cuban Ambassador in The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, paid a working visit to the island of Eleuthera. Mr. José Reinel García Sánchez, Liaison Officer for Cuban Teachers of the Ministry of Education of Cuba in The Bahamas accompanied her.

During their stay in the Bahamian territory, both officials had the opportunity to exchange with Eleuthera education managers and the five Cuban teachers who collaborate in the island, teaching the subjects of Automechanics, Electricity, Agriculture and Chemistry.

Accompanied by government officials, members of Parliament, representatives of the Free National Movement (FNM) and constituents, the Prime Minister thanked the Bahamian people and their party for reposing their trust in him.
