Ambassador of Cuba holds meeting with ambassador of Botswana

Today Ambassador of Cuba in Harare made a courtesy visit to her Botswana counterpart Louis M. Fisher.
The meeting offered the opportunity to share points of view on the history of Africa, the decisive participation of Cuba in Cuito Cuanavale, in Angola, historical fact that changed the history of Southern Africa. The Botswana envoy enhanced the work of Cuban doctors in his country.

Cuba and Mongolia continue to strengthen their bilateral ties.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. January 17, 2018. The Hon. Mr. Enkhbold Nyamaa, the new Minister of Defense of Mongolia, received the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción in a courtesy meeting where the Cuban Ambassador congratulated the also member of Parliament for his appointment as head of important institution of the State. The Minister on his side conveyed his congratulations to the Cuban people and Government for the 59th Anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution and the beginning of the New Year 2018.

Cuba and Mongolia ratified willingness to expand relations in health.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. January 17, 2018. New Minister of Public Health of Mongolia, Mrs. D. Sarangerel, received today the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción in a work meeting that served to concretize the actions to be developed in this important sphere of relations between both countries. The Cuban Ambassador began the meeting by summarizing the work done during 2017 and the progress made in the process of registration and promotion of Cuban biotechnological products for the treatment of diabetes and hepatitis in Mongolia.

Cuban and US authorities hold Technical Exchange on Counter-Terrorism

On January 17, 2018, a technical meeting was held in Washington D.C. between the Cuban and US authorities responsible for preventing and fighting terrorism, aimed at advancing cooperation in this area.

This meeting falls within the context of law enforcement dialogue that both countries established in November 2015.

The Cuban delegation was composed of representatives of the ministries of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, while the US delegation was composed of officials of the departments of Homeland Security, Justice and State.
