Vietnames leaders welcomed Cuban First Vice President

The first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, was welcomed in Hanoi by the Secretary General of Vietnam Communist Party (VCP), the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the leader of the National Assembly.

Valdés Mesa talked with the leader of VCP, Nguyen Phu Trong, about the importance of his last visit to Cuba, last March, when both countries reached new agreements in order to expand bilateral political and economic ties.

Ghanaian Foreign Minister travels to Cuba to fulfill an official visit

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey departed from the Kotoka International Airport of Accra to travel to Cuba, where she will fulfill an official visit from September 14 to 18, 2018.

The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González saw off the Ghanaian Foreign Minister at the airport, both talked about the purpose of the visit and future actions to strengthen, even more, the bilateral relations.

The Ghanaian Foreign Minister was enthusiastic about the trip to the largest of the Caribbean islands.

Specialists from Cuba reject notion of health attacks and brain damage in U.S. diplomats

On September 13, 2018 a meeting took place in Washington D.C. between U.S. and Cuban expert scientists to exchange on the health symptoms reported by U.S. diplomats accredited in Havana.
