The Permanent Mission of Cuba to the International Organizations in Vienna participated in the official ceremony and the placement of a commemorative plaque on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the
establishment of the Group of 77 + China -Vienna Chapter.
Ambassador Carlos Játiva Naranjo, Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, the country that assumed the presidency of this Group in March 2018, delivered the opening remarks of the ceremony.
Wellington, September 10th, 2018. “El Techo”, by young Cuban director Patricia Ramos, was screened in Wellington as part of the 17th edition of the Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF).
The Cuban film had an excellent reception, confirmed in a screening room filled by the local audience.
"El Techo" is the debut film of Patricia Ramos. Accurate to its name, it was filmed on a rooftop in a Havana neighbourhood, in which three friends are torn between the dreams and frustrations that are part of their everyday life.
