Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Antonio Guerrero, meets with the Vice Prime Minister and Chancellor of Namibia.

The Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Antonio Guerrero, held a fraternal meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwa. Also present were Rubí Despaigne, president of UNECA, and Cuban ambassador Giraldo Mazola.

The meeting was propitious for Guerrero to reiterate to the Chancellor, on his behalf and on behalf of his four other colleagues, the gratitude for all that Namibia did for their release. Similarly, he recalled the visit of the Five in 2015 and the unrepeatable shows of affection received in this country.

During the exchange, the Cuban Hero presented the main issues addressed with his Namibian counterparts in the construction area.

For her part, Chancellor Netumbo thanked Tony for her words and reaffirmed the special affection that exists between the peoples of Namibia and Cuba, born of the blood shed together for the freedom of this African country.

Likewise, the Namibian leader also expressed her satisfaction with the current state of bilateral cooperation relations, although she urged to work more for its expansion and strengthening

Meeting held on the security for trade flows and the protection of persons between Cuba and the United States

On November 16, 2017, the second meeting of the U.S.-Cuba working group on the security for trade flows and the protection of persons between Cuba and the United States took place in Washington D.C.
 
This working group meets in the framework of law enforcement, which both parties maintain for the coordination of the combat against transnational crimes affecting the two countries. The meeting took place in an ambiance of respect and professionalism.
 

Cuban presence in children's activity in Accra

The First Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba to Ghana,  Julio César Sánchez, witnessed the performance of a group of girls and boys from the primary school of "Merton" International School  in Accra, after invitation received at the embassy sent by the school's management.

The First Secretary observed the development of a Cultural Festival, where the children represented all the continents and a group of countries, including Cuba, through dances, songs and other artistic expressions.

Ambassador of Cuba holds cordial meeting with Minister of Justice of Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica, November 16th, 2017. Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, Ines Fors Fernandez, was welcomed, this morning, by the Minister of Justice of Jamaica, Delroy Chuck, at the headquarters of said ministry in Kingston.

During the cordial meeting, both parts expressed the willingness to increase the cooperation between the ministries of Justice of Jamaica and Cuba and to continue strengthening the instruments of cooperation that already exist.
