Wesseh, figure of great prestige in Liberian national politics, made a special intervention in the framework of the activity organized by the Embassy of Cuba in Liberia to commemorate the Day of the National Rebellion last Friday, July 27. Among the guests at the celebration were young people from various social organizations, journalists and graduates in Cuba.
Beirut, July 31, 2018.- The Cuban Embassy in Lebanon hosted the celebration in this country of the 65th anniversary of the assault to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.
The event was attended by members of the Cuban community living in Lebanon, as well as Palestinians and Lebanese graduates of Cuban universities and members of the diplomatic mission.
The ocassion was also used to say goodbye to Mohamed Alhaj Ali, Elissa Jamal Eddine and Mohamed Kassem Hung, who received scholarships from the Cuban government to study medicine in Cuba.

The celebratory act for the 26th of July was headed by the Cuban Ambassador, directives of the Friends with Cuba Association and the Cuban Medical Brigade, among other members.
In attendance were the Cuban collaborators, members of the solidarity movement with Cuba, political leaders, Cuban residents, among others.
