Ottawa, November 18, 2018. On Sunday Nov. 18 Cuba´s Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Mr. Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, embarked on a five-day working visit to Canada. During his stay, he will carry out an extensive visit agenda, which includes meetings with Canadian officials and members of the business sector in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

The Panel, led by Dr. Joanna Boampong, Director of the Center for Latin American Studies of the College of Humanities at the University of Ghana, is part of the Program of Activities to Commemorate the Four Centuries of Links between Africa and the Americas.
The Bahamas, 18 November 2018. On the occasion of the 2018 “Women of Distinction” presentation at the Bahamas Government House, the Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara M. Vargas Walter, exchanged with The Most Honourable Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor-General of the aforesaid Caribbean nation. The event featured Trio de Ciudad, a Cuban three-piece ensemble consistent of two young violinists and a pianist who delighted the attendees with an exquisite classical music selection.
