Authorities of Burgenland, an Austrian region receive the Ambassador of Cuba

The ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios performed a working visit to Eisenstadt city, capital of Burgenland region. He was received by authorities from the Regional Parliament and Government and representatives of cultural and educational institutions of the city. It was an opportunity in which it was found the high interest of both parties to broaden the existing bilateral bonds.

Sultan of Johor Welcomes Cuban Ambassador

Kuala Lumpur, April 28 - The Sultan of Johor state, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, received in audience at Mersing Palace, the Cuban ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on the need and importance of identifying possible areas of bilateral cooperation. One particular area mentioned was that of special areas of development, as our country has a newly created area, ZED Mariel.

Cuba participates in the Business and Investment Forum Iconvienna 2017 in Austria

The 13th European Business and Investment Forum (Iconvienna 2017) was held in the Federal Economic Chamber of Vienna. There were presented the business opportunities in Latin American and the Caribbean in the margins of the event. Likewise, Cuba´s foreign investment opportunities, essentially, in Mariel Special Development Zone as well as in the renewable energy sector and some other prioritized areas were highlighted.
