Cuban Ambassador bids farewell to the authorities of the island of Nevis

The island of Nevis was the scene of the farewell meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, and the Honorable Mark Brantley, Premier of that territory. The Cuban diplomat was received at the Premier's office, in a meeting that was covered by local television. During the meeting, both parties offered statements on the joint work carried out in recent years, as well as on the positive state of bilateral relations between Cuba and Nevis.

Lecture of the Cuban Ambassador to the European Medicines Agency (EMA)

Amsterdam, October 29, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to the Netherlands, Eva Yelina Silva Walker, gave a lecture at the European Medicines Agency to celebrate Black History Month.

The Cuban diplomat spoke about the influence of Africa, its traditions, and culture on the development of science, medicine, and pharmacology in Cuba. She also mentioned the presence of Cuban doctors in African lands, where they have contributed to improving the health indicators of their populations.

Cuba Accuses the United States of "Pathological Lies" to Justify the Blockade at the UN

Madam President:

The United States government knows no other way to justify its hostile policy against Cuba than to resort to constant lies. We all know that the United States government is a pathological liar. But they are not fooling anyone.

It is clear that they are not in the least concerned about the fate of our people nor about their human rights, which the blockade undermines like nothing else.

Nor are they interested in regional peace which they threaten with their irresponsible military deployment in the Caribbean Sea.

Madam President:

I would like to express my deepest condolences and solidarity to the governments and people of Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, who have suffered loss of life due to Hurricane Melissa. I also extend my condolences to Panama which has suffered some losses due to heavy rains, and our best wishes to the Bahamas and Bermuda.

I speak on behalf of a people who are currently facing a monstrous hurricane with scarce resources, relying almost entirely on willpower, unity, and solidarity.
